mfc agar

We have been using mfc agar plates with and without Rosolic Acid for a few months now instead of the broth. We changed due to cost and convenience. They have been working well for us and we have found that with our natural water samples, the colonies are easier to see. That being said, we cannot get them to pass a QC sample. We have tried QC samples from both Environmental Resource Associates and Phenova Certified Reference Standards. We have tested our equipment and membranes and have determined that isn't the problem.
Has anyone else had this problem?
