Final Version of 2007 TNI Standards Available

The TNI Standards that were voted on and adopted during 2007 have been published in their final form.  They are:

Environmental Laboratory Sector

Volume1 - Management and Technical Requirements for Laboratories Performing Environmental Analysis (comprising 7 modules)
Volume 2 - General Requirements for Accreditation Bodies Accrediting Environmental Laboratories (comprising 3 modules)
Volume 3 - General Requirements for Environmental Proficiency Test Providers
Volume 4 - General Requirements for an Accreditor of Environmental Proficiency Test Providers

Field Sampling and Measurement Organization Sector

Volume 1 - General Requirements for Field Sampling and Measurement Organizations
Volume 2 - General Requirements for Accreditation Bodies Accrediting Field Sampling and Measurement Organizations

Each volume or module has a listed adoption date of either May 1, 2007 or December 22, 2007.

In accordance with TNI SOP 2-100 (Procedures Governing Standards Development), those standards with an adoption date of December 22, 2007 may be appealed.  The appellant is required to file a written complaint with Jerry Parr, Executive Director of TNI, within 30 days of the posting of those volumes/modules.
