On-site Assessment Committee Requests Comments
Date Posted: 2-25-2008
The On-site Assessment Module of the Accreditation Body (AB) Requirements (Volume 2, Module 3) was completed in January 2007. While this standard has everything an AB is required to do in connection with an assessment, it does not provide specifics on what the technical disciplines or basic assessor training courses should cover. To help with implementation of the standard, the On-site Assessment committee has developed a draft guidance document entitled Assessor Technical Course Curricula. This document gives course outlines for seven of the required technical disciplines. Eventually the document will include guidance on the composition of the written examination for each discipline. The committee needs your input! Please take a little time to review the draft document and provide feed-back.
Also, by popular demand – the On-site Assessment Committee has turned the old Laboratory On-site Assessment Module into a guidance document. Please take a few minutes to read the daft document and provide feedback.
Comments on these two documents will be accepted until February 1, 2008. Your feed-back is important and appreciated. Thank you.
